We take excellent care when shipping
chocolates, and are proud to say we have never had a melt-job yet! To ensure this success, we follow the
guidelines listed below.
We highly recommend shipping to an
address where someone will be available to accept the package, ideally to your
work place, or arranging for someone to be home on the date you expect your
delivery. Although we package very
carefully, chocolate left outside your home for a while may be damaged by
weather that is too hot, cold, rainy, humid - or even hungry pets.
If the recipient is not
at home to receive package, our carrier may leave the package without a
signature required. You may request Signature Service for a fee, by requesting
it in the comment section of the check-out. Our carrier will leave packages at
the driver's discretion, but sometimes will choose to return to the nearest
terminal for customer pickup. Please note that Gracious Bridal is NOT
responsible for packages left without a signature.
· Refunds or replacements will only be given if your order
arrives damaged.
· Orders sent to a wrong or incomplete address are NOT
guaranteed and may be assessed an additional $10.00 fee if so charged by the
carrier. We reserve the right to bill
you for incomplete/incorrect addresses that result in this additional fee from
the carrier.
· Orders may arrive sooner than your
requested Deliver By Date. Please see our shipping rate table below for
more complete information on transit time.
· All chocolate products are shipped with complimentary gel ice
packs between May & October.
Our normal shipping days during the warm
months and to warm-weather areas (holidays
excluded) for Overnight and Second Day Air shipments are Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday. Overnight shipments are also sent on Thursday upon request. This
schedule is designed so your chocolate does not sit over the weekend in a
warehouse without temperature controls. We may ship on Thursday or Friday if
cool temperatures allow your chocolate to be safely transported.
